Goya onboard

Incredible board and sail brand Goya have joined the PWA for 2012.

The Goya brand is the brainchild of waterman Francisco Goya, and represents years of design and testing on and off the water. Goya moved to Maui aged 18 and was able to ride for a number of sail and board brands for five years before he developed his own brand. By starting his own brand, Goya was able to use the designs he wanted to ride and use the materials that matched. It is his passion that drives this unique sail and board brand and those that ride for him.

In 2012 Goya will have a number of riders representing them on the PWA including, wave heavy hitter, Marcilio Browne (Goya / MFC).

Francisco Goya states: “Supporting the PWA means a complete cycle to me. I grew up inspired by the level of riding of athletes in competitions, and I have been part of the tour since 1991. The PWA is committed to the highest standard of action, judging and communication, and for me along with the Goya team and company to support them is a wonderful step. It proves the core, sustainability and heritage of our sport.

I wish all competitors a windy season. Thank you for showing us what is possible and enjoy your ride.”
