R.I.P Vincent Mellouet

It is with great regret that we announce the sad news that the extremely talented windsurfer Vincent Mellouet has passed away.

We have received the unfortunate news that thirty-year-old Vincent Mellouet has passed away, whilst windsurfing at his home spot in Sainte Barbe, in the Bretagne region, France. The extremely talented windsurfer suffered a terrible accident this weekend whilst sailing in the waves.

Vincent was an incredible passionate windsurfer, and he was particularly impressive to watch in the waves and whilst freestyling. His movies from around the world have entertained and inspired thousands to go windsurfing.

His latest movie ‘6/5mm’ was released in February and is a lasting reminder of what an impressive windsurfer he was. It can be viewed HERE.

Vincent will be remembered as an outstanding athlete and he will be greatly missed. Our thoughts are with Vincent’s family and friends.
