BRUCH ON FORM

Brilliance from Bruch after a recent trip to Mosca Point, Gran Canaria

Dany Bruch (Starboard / Severne / AL360) is considered one of the best wave riders in the world. His super smooth, fluid style on the wave constantly attracts the attention of both the judges and the crowds on the beach. Last year Bruch was able to finish the 2012 PWA Wave World Tour in fifth place, which is testament to his unique style on the water. Furthermore Bruch was able to claim second place in the first mission of the Red Bull Storm Chase in Ireland at the end of January, in some of the toughest conditions ever windsurfed.

Whilst many of the top pros have escaped the European winter, Dany Bruch is not one of them. The German, who lives in Tenerife, is spending his winter training at home, except for when the forecast is firing for one particular spot on Gran Canaria.

Bruch’s latest video is filmed at Mosca Point and the thirty-one year old certainly makes the most of the conditions on offer. Bruch unleashes his trademark top turns, sending spray flying by the bucket load, whilst also including some new school wave riding as he rotates his way through a perfect backside wave 360.
