FERNANDEZ ON FIRE

A jumping and wave riding masterclass on the world class waves of Chile by Victor Fernandez

To follow up his recent road trip to Portugal, which can be seen here, Victor Fernandez (Fanatic / North) has now released another epic video of him shredding Chile to pieces.

With the world class waves on offer the 2010 PWA Wave World Champion produces a stunning display consisting of both radical jumping and wave riding. Fernandez launches into perfectly rotated one-handed, one-footed backloops, trademark double forwards and exquisite pushloops. On the wave the twenty-eight year old unleashes aggressive vertical turns combined with sick backside wave 360s and tweaked aerials to cap a spectacular performance.

Here’s what Victor had to say:

“Chile is one of my favourite destinations in the world, a country that I visit at least once a year. This year I spent nearly two months, we score great surfing in the first 3 weeks and very good windsurfing in the last 20 days of the trip. It´s being great to share these moments with team mates and friends as Klaas Voget (Fanatic / Simmer / MFC), Cisco Casas, Nacho Rocha, Arthur Arutkin (Fanatic / North), Aleix, Eric Sanllehy (Goya Windsurfing / MFC), Filferro and the local windsurfers from Chile. Looking forward to come back in November for the PWA World Cup.”
