Mattia Fabrizi and Jacopo Testa battle it out to be the pride of Italy

Mattia Fabarizi (Fanatic / North / MFC) and Jacopo Testa (RRD / AL360) represent two of the biggest freestyle talents in Italy right now. Both the twenty-one year olds competed at the opening PWA Freestyle event of the year - with Testa making an impressive start to the season by claiming thirteenth place after the double elimination, whilst Fabrizi - who was carrying a foot injury - had to settle for 25th this time around.

Since the conclusion of the event both sailors have headed back to Italy to take advantage of the summer breezes before the next contest in Fuerteventura and the duo have once again been battling it out during the Italian Freestyle Championships and after the completion of the single elimination it is currently Testa who is out in front.

The entire winners’ final was filmed and can now be viewed here. The action is of a world class standard as both sailors go big in order to try and edge out in front of one another. Testa opens the heat with a monster - almost - air kabikuchi, whilst Fabrizi lands a super clean culo. Over the duration of the hear the pair continue to push their sailing to limit with massive burner 900s, radical ponches and attempts at spock-culos.
