Philip Solytsiak (Starboard / Sailworks) is one of the world’s top freestylers, having been ranked in the overall top ten for the last five years in a row - being ranked as high as sixth in the world in 2010 - the Canadian has now released his latest video packed with amazing action from the Gorge, Columbia River.
Soltysiak is already out in Fuerteventura ahead of the PWA World Cup, which starts on the 20th July, but unfortunately suffered a dislocated shoulder a couple of days ago, meaning that he faces a race against time in his battle to be fit to compete.
The twenty-six year old looks as though he could be dominant force in Fuerteventura if he is fit given the action from his latest video, where he flies through perfect spock culos, powerful air funnels and Tonky Frans’ (Tabou / Gaastra) trademark move the bongka to name just a few.
We wish Soltysiak a quick recovery and hope to see him on the water competing next week.
