COLD HAWAII

The best bits from another epic Cold Hawaii event

It may have been a few months since the 2013 KIA Cold Hawaii PWA World Cup, but the videos from another brilliant event in Klitmoeller continue to roll out. This time with a superb edit by Spotas, who have compiled the highlights of this year into a new fantastic movie.

Many of you will remember that this year Cold Hawaii saw a blend of conditions ranging the whole spectrum, which ultimately saw the competition boil down to an epic final day as howling winds and big waves returned to the ferocious North Sea. Earlier in the week though the fleet enjoyed world class, down the line wave sailing in perfect side-off winds, as well as being able to bask in the sun and play in the waves on the lighter wind days.

The 2013 KIA Cold Hawaii PWA World Cup is also where Marcilio ‘Brawzinho’ Browne (Goya Windsurfing / MFC) truly began his title charge after capturing his first PWA Wave event victory on the Danish shores. Of course Brawzinho went on to win his maiden world title, being crowned at the home on windsurfing, Ho’okipa Beach Park.

All that’s left for you to do is sit back, relax and enjoy reliving the highlights of this year’s KIA Cold Hawaii PWA World Cup. Is it too early to start counting down the days till the next epic event in Klitmoeller?
