CHARGING COUSIN

Truly warp speed slalom for the reigning slalom World Champion in preparation for the new season

Delphine Cousin (Starboard / Loft Sails) claimed the prestigious PWA Slalom World Champion for the first time in her career in 2013, as she showed the guile and tactical prowess needed to defeat the finest racers in the world.

At just twenty-two years old, Cousin, has the potential to write her name into windsurfing folklore if she can maintain her performance at the very top of the game. Based on the reigning World Champion’s latest movie she certainly isn’t resting on her laurels and will be fully prepared for the season opener in Korea from the 10th - 16th May.

Whenever a sailor changes equipment - as Cousin did this year, changing both sail and board sponsor - there are always question marks raised about how they will adapt to their new equipment, as far as we can tell, at this easy stage it looks as though she’ll be as quick as she ever was.
