How King Robby stays motivated to keep windsurfing after all these years

As probably the most famous name in windsurfing history, Robby Naish (Naish) is truly an iconic figure and one that the next generation of windsurfer’s still idolize. In 2013 the King returned to the competition scene as he battled it out against the finest wave sailing athletes in the world during the JP Aloha Classic. Naish rolled back the years as he demonstrated his unrivaled knowledge of Ho’okipa, together with his legendary powerful top to bottom wave riding to dispatch of some of today’s finest aerial artists to eventually finish in joint 17th.

After so many years windsurfing, some would think that his motivation to windsurf may begin to wane, however that is quite on the contrary. In Naish’s latest video he explains exactly why he’s still as motivated to windsurf as he has ever been, whilst also proving that at the tender age of 51 he’s in some of the best shape of his life and still absolutely ripping.
