Dieter van der Eyken in Fuerteventura, late but definitely worth the wait

Dieter van der Eyken (Starboard / Severne) enjoyed an incredible year on the PWA Freestyle World Tour last season. The Belgium delivered several outstanding performances, which earned him his just rewards with his best overall finish to date as he claimed 5th place.

van der Eyken is still only twenty-two years old and having gained a further three places in the rankings last year compared to 2012 - where he finished 8th - it is going to be extremely interesting to see how his sailing has developed over the winter, and whether he can break into the illustrious top four.

Although many months have passed since his time in Fuerteventura, it is only now that van der Eyken has released his new movie, however it is safe to say that the long overdue wait was worth it. The action captured is a combination of van der Eyken free sailing and competing during the PWA Fuerteventura World Cup, and his latest movie illustrates perfectly why he was able to claim fifth place overall last year.

The PWA would also like to wish Dieter a very Happy Birthday.
