SNIADY AND SLY

Justyna Sniady defies the doctors to return fitter, stronger and better than ever before...

Just over two years ago Justyna Sniady (Simmer / Mystic) suffered a horrific injury to her foot, whilst preparing for the first PWA Wave event of the season in Pozo Izquierdo, Gran Canaria. Sniady was advised by doctors that she may never walk properly again, yet alone windsurf, but against all the odds, plus a bucket load of courage and determination, the Pole has made a successful return to windsurfing and the world stage and is now sailing the best she ever has.

Sniady currently sits joint seventh in the overall PWA Wave World Rankings after an excellent fifth place in Pozo and ninth in Tenerife, with one event to go in 2014. Sniady also finished second at the Poland Indoor Event last month, after landing her first ever starboard tack forward loop.

Sniady's latest video documents her long battle to recover, whilst showing her training in Western Australia - where she spends much of the year - Pozo and El Medano, Tenerife. Prepare for six minutes of pure entertainment as the Pole throws herself into forwards, backloops and even one-handed backies, as well as a nice cameo performance from Sylvester Stallone.
