Off Season

A few weeks ago you may remember seeing the Fanatic and North Wave Team in action in Cape Town, South Africa — Well now it’s the turn of the freestyle team — Adrien Bosson (Fanatic / North / Maui Ultra Fins), Max Matissek (Fanatic / North) and Riccardo Marca (Fanatic / North / Maui Ultra Fins) — to take centre stage and their performance is nothing short of sublime.

Before enjoying a few minutes of astronomical freestyle here’s a short statement from Adrien Bosson, who earned his maiden podium during the opening freestyle event of the year in Podersdorf, Austria:

Adrien Bosson: “I have to say that it's feel really good to make my first podium, especially at the first event of year! I didn't expect to make the podium before coming here.. not at all. 

So it was a great surprise on day 1 to sail all the way through the ladder and into the final of the single elimination against Gollito. Training has paid off.

Thinking back the it was insane with the stormy conditions, I will remember this for a long time! And it was even crazier go get these kind of conditions in Podo as well!

On the competition side, it is extremely nice to start the 2016 season with a 3rd place as there is only 3 freestyle event — so no discard. For the rest of the season I want to keep having fun on the water, freesailing or competing, do what i've been training in the past, push myself and take it easy too.”
