Dieter van der Eyken (Starboard / Severne) won the PWA Freestyle World Championship in 2015, but has already started to make his mark on the wave tour - breaking into the top 16 for the first time last year with successive top ten finishes in Tenerife and Sylt being the highlights, so far.

Meanwhile, Amado Vrieswijk (JP / Severne) finished last season as the freestyle vice-world champion and it seems only a matter of time before he will claim his first freestyle world crown. However, he recently joined van der Eyken for a quick Gran Canaria visit and the two of them have been enduring their fair share of wipeouts as well as pulling off some sick moves from tweaked pushloops to textbook doubles.
