Sunset Ho'okipa

Graham Ezzy (Tabou / Ezzy) was born and raised in Maui, Hawaii, so he knows Ho’okipa like the back of his hand and better than almost anyone else on the planet. The 28-year-old has just released a stunning new edit, which shows a slightly different side to Ho’okipa filmed over two days. 

Graham Ezzy: “Here my latest clip. It is from Maui's spring and it covers 2 filming sessions from 2 different days. I wanted to show the feeling of full wave rides, and hint at the other factors of sailing Hookipa: crowds, chop, etc. vimeo.com/229842372

Ezzy on his latest video: “Despite the crowds and the choppy faces, Ho'okipa is my favourite place to windsurf in the world. It's the sport's Mecca but also my home. At the end of the day, the crowds thin and the waves clean up a little. Sometimes at this time the sun shines so bright as it reflects off the sea's surface that it's impossible to see.”
