Magic Marseille

Antoine Albert Explores Marseille's Extensive Coastline

Earlier this year Antoine Albert (Goya Windsurfing) explored Marseille’s stunning and extensive shoreline and has just released a new edit. The New Caledonian enjoyed his best year to date on the PWA Freestyle World Tour largely in part due to his excellent performance in Sylt where he finished 5th to climb to 7th in the overall rankings - and he seemingly believes sailing in the extremely tricky conditions he was faced with as a possible part of that success.

Antoine Albert: During the spring 2017, we filmed in "exotics spots" around Marseille together with David Bensussan (TotalRidingProd) for his web series L'eau Limpide de Marseille. With his knowledge of his own town, David found the most beautiful seaside areas to realise his web series and push me on the water where I would never ever think it was sailable because of a super tricky way to enter the water, extremely gusty wind, strong current, forbidden area, stormy Mistral weather (over 50 knots). Anyway, I managed to deal with those factors and give my best on the water, and David his, best behind the camera. This is the result, maybe the key of the success in Sylt?
