Antoine Martin & Jules Denel discuss the next generation of French wave sailors ft Alex Grand-Guillot, Loick Lesauvage & Noah Vocker

France as a nation seems to have a knack of producing a world class crop of windsurfers across all disciplines. In the slalom half of the top ten is made up of Frenchmen - Antoine Albeau (RRD / NeilPryde), Pierre Mortefon (Fanatic / NorthSails / Chopper Fins), Pascal Toselli (99NoveNove / LoftSails / Chopper Fins), Julien Quentel (Patrik / Avanti) and Antoine Questel (Starboard / S2Maui), while in women’s fleet 2 out of the top 3 are completed by French girls - Delphine Cousin (Starboard / S2Maui) and Marion Mortefon (Fanatic / NorthSails).

Meanwhile, they also have a powerful pool of talent in the freestyle with leading names such as Antony Ruenes (Tabou / GA Sails), Adrien Bosson (Fanatic / NorthSails / Maui Ultra Fins), Sam Esteve (JP / NeilPryde), Antoine Albert (Goya Windsurfing) and Nicolas Akgazciyan (99NoveNove / Challenger Sails / Maui Ultra Fins) all prominent figures on the world tour.

Now Antoine Martin (JP / NeilPryde) and Jules Denel (JP / NeilPryde) discuss the next crop of future French wave sailors trying to come through the ranks such as Alex Grand-Guillot (Fanatic / NorthSails), Loick Lesauvage (Goya Windsurfing / Shamal Sunglasses) and Noah Vocker (Fanatic / NorthSails / Maui Ultra Fins).
