Pozo in December

The conditions have been firing recently in Pozo Izquierdo, even though it is not the time of year when Pozo traditionally provides wind and waves.
As well as Alex Mussolini (RRD / RRD Sails) and Alessio Stillrich (Fanatic / NorthSails), local boy Omar Sanchez (Carbon Art / KA Sail) was also on hand to take advantage of the pumping conditions. Sanchez recorded his best result of the season during the Gran Canaria Wind & Waves Festival - 9th - before going on to finish in joint 13 place in the overall rankings.
