The 2005 Leucate Mondial du Vent PWA Super X World Cup – Day 3

Sunshine and calm seas hide the tension that lies beneath the surface

Sunshine and calm seas hide the tension that lies beneath the surface.

More warm sunshine and light winds in Leucate, have left the anxious competition fleet high and dry, waiting for their opportunity to challenge reigning PWA Super X World Champion and current event leader, Matt Pritchard (Tabou, Gaastra). Pritchard Currently leads the event by more than 6 points ahead of Cyril Moussilmani (Fanatic), who in turn leads Robby Swift (JP, Neil Pryde) by just over 2 points.

As we go to press, weather forecasters are predicting winds over 20 knots for the weekend so it is still all to play for here in France.

The action kicks off again tomorrow, from ten o’clock, so make sure to check out www.pwaworldtour.com for all the breaking stories.
