Daida Moreno Looking in Dangerous Form as Multiple Time World Champion Goes in Search of 5th Consecutive Gran Canaria Wind & Waves Festival Title

Daida Moreno (Starboard / Severne / Maui Ultra Fins) is one of the most decorated sailors in windsurfing history having won numerous titles over the past 2 decades and her latest video, filmed in Pozo, highlights why she has been such a dominant force over such a prolonged period with a radical array of jumping and wave riding.

Daida currently occupies 3rd place on the 2018 Women’s PWA Wave World Tour having completed the podium in the season opener - held in Moulay Bouzerktoun, Morocco.

The next stop on the PWA Wave World Tour will see the best men and women in the world lining up in the Moreno twins home spot - Pozo Izquierdo - and Daida will once again be the woman to beat having only been beaten once here since 1999 - with her only defeat coming in 2012 to her sister Iballa Moreno (Starboard / Severne / Maui Ultra Fins) - while no result was attained in 2013.
