The Red Bull Storm Rider event has been another successful contest at Bat Galim, proving the excellent potential this place has to offer. Sadly the existence of Bat Galim beach has been under threat from real-estate developers, planning to build a huge marina and destroying the reef in the process. Next up on the PWA calendar is Maui for the kickoff of the 2006 wave competition. Stay tuned to www.pwaworldtour.com for the latest information on this and other events.
