June saw some rare south winds in Tenerife, which transforms El Médano from a wavy paradise into a perfect flat water plaground. 2015 Freestyle World Champion - Dieter Van der Eyken (Severne / Severne Sails) took advantage of the run of south winds and has just released a stylish new edit @ youtu.be/y7rw0uxKLQs
Dieter Van der Eyken: “Although it’s still quite gusty because of the mountain it’s perfect for freestyle and freeriding. Even with no tourists due to travel restrictions, that were in place during this period, the bay was still pretty packed. Nearly all the action in the clip is filmed from a one hour Freestyle session on the strongest & busiest day of the forecast with my Freek 4.4m and Psycho 92.”
