Spring is usually a crazy time at Ho’okipa with many of the annual photoshoots taking place during March-May. However, with the COVID pandemic Ho’okipa was markedly quieter, but that didn’t affect the wind and waves, just the number of people enjoying them.
Marcilio Browne (Goya Windsurfing) was one of the few lucky enough to be tucking into some clean Ho’okipa walls, while the stronger trades at that time of year also made for some great jumping.
