Pe'ahi Power

Ricardo Campello Taking on the Liquid Mountains of Pe’ahi

The Pacific Ocean has seen a flurry of almost non-stop swells over the last month or so, which has seen Pe’ahi breaking consistently allowing the world’s best big wave sailors to fill their boots with some of, if not the biggest waves of their lives so far.

Ricardo Campello: “The season has been non-stop on Maui, in the past month we've had 4 or 5 sessions at Jaws. Here are my best moments from those past sessions, including #superswellsaturday with sets over 60 Ft it was the biggest wave I have ridden so far.

Im getting more confidence at Pe’ahi  (aka Jaws) each session I sail there, but that last swell was really something special.  I was quite nervous as it was massive plus the wave and wind direction wasn't the best for windsurfing but at the end of the day it was all worth it!
