Tiberias PWA World Cup

Delphine Cousin Questel & Pierre Mortefon Prepare to Defend Their World Titles in Tiberias

With the start of the 2021 PWA Slalom World Tour now just a few days away we managed to catchup with Delphine Cousin Questel (FMX Racing / S2Maui), who is the defending Slalom and Foil World Champion, and Pierre Mortefon (Fanatic / Duotone), who claimed his first Slalom world title in 2019, to see how a couple of the defending champions are feeling ahead of their title defence:

Delphine Cousin Questel: “I am really happy to be back on the tour after all this time. I heard only good things about Tiberias and looks like it could be windy! I am super excited to be back on the starting line with all women in Foil and slalom and I feel I’m ready to compete and defend my World titles!”

Pierre Mortefon: “I am just super happy and excited to be back on track! I was like a kid preparing again my racing board bag and getting ready for the event, a bit lost ! This new discipline will be super interesting, not the easiest to deal with, but it will offer more days of racing and some new action! I worked a lot on it since the beginning of the year and it’s still hard to say which one is better when! Lets see, it will be an interesting week of racing in a new place for everyone! And be sure I will for sure push my limit…

I really want to thank the organiser to keep pushing the event and work hard to let us sail in the famous Tiberias Lake. Arnon share with us some great action and it’s looking like a windy place.”
