Gran Canaria & Tenerife

Like many of the top aspiring wave sailors, Nick Spangenberg (JP / GUNSAILS / Maui Ultra Fins) spent this summer in the Canary Islands, firstly competing at the Youth Gran Canaria PWA Windsurfing World Cup, before spending some time in Tenerife also.

Nick Spangenberg: “Summer trip to the Canary Islands came to an end. In the beginning of July I spent more than 2 weeks on Gran Canaria (Pozo Izquierdo). Beside the PWA World Tour, where I managed to claim 4th place in U21, I really enjoyed time with friends and sharing an apartment with Lars Bubelach and Sebastian Bail made us having fun every day. 

After coming back to Germany, finishing some exams in University, I came back to the Canaries. This time Tenerife (El Cabezo) with family and my girlfriend. We had good conditions every day and during training breaks we explored the island a bit.

Now it’s time to go back to Denmark again and to prepare for the upcoming competitions.
