What’s it feel like to…? Part 2
What's it feel like to...
Look down from a 40ft jump at Pozo?
Matt Pritchard: ‘basically it feels real nice…’
Iballa: ‘Now that’s fun!’
Josh: ‘In my case that would be 20 FEET... but it still looks high from up there!’
Cyril: ‘You don't really have the time to watch. You often don't know how high you actually are - but the feeling is like flying’
Crash from 40ft high at Pozo?
Matt Pritchard: ‘ Like a trip to hospital might be in order’
Iballa: ‘I’ve learnt how to fall at Pozo...always making sure I land on water and not on my equipment!’
Cyril: ‘Sometimes its good, sometimes its bad’
Josh: ‘It happens all the time to me at Pozo, (From 20 feet).... but luckily I’m usually pumped full of adrenaline and amino acids and other goodies from Team MPG, so I don’t feel it ‘til later in the night…’
Win a heat?
Iballa: ‘ That always feels good if you’ve trained specifically to win’
Cyril: ‘ It always feels great no matter how many times you’ve won before’
Lose a heat?
Iballa: ‘It happens.... so it’s best just to keep on fighting. There’ll be more chances! ‘
Cyril: ‘If it was close then you always feel pissed. If you didn’t do what you had to do then you don’t feel so bad about it’
Matt: ‘It sucks sucks sucks!’
Josh: ‘It’s terrible, disappointing, and heartbreaking’
Stand on the podium?
Iballa: ‘It’s the most perfect feeling’
Josh: ‘In first it’s great, less good in second and third…but you’ll take it anyways’
Cyril; ‘It got me real nervous the first couple of times, but now I’m more used to it’
To be a full-time Pro?
Iballa: ‘What can I say – I’m living my dream!’
Matt: ‘ Real busy mostly’
Cyril: ‘Its simply great, but it can be hard sometimes’
Josh: ‘There’s no better job!’
