PWA / IWT Cold Hawaii Youth Wave and Slalom World Cup
A new beautiful day dawned on day four of the 2024 PWA / IWT Cold Hawaii Youth Wave and Slalom World Cup, but as has unfortunately been the case so far this week, there wasn’t enough wind. Still, there were some waves for a bit of surfing, along with sunshine and enjoying the general beach life. Now, we look forward to Friday, where we have registration for the Youth Slalom and a clinic with Marc Paré (Simmer / Simmer Sails) and Johan Søe (FMX Racing / Point-7). We’ve received many good questions for these two gentlemen, but we could use more…
Unfortunately, the wind on Friday doesn’t look too promising for the Youth Wave fleet, so Friday will likely be used by the slalom sailors for training and preparation. The first sailing day for slalom is on Saturday, while the Wave fleet will have there skippers’ meeting at 11:00am (GMT+2).
A huge thanks to the volunteers and, of course, to our sponsors, without whom this wouldn’t be possible: Cafe Hawgus, Emilienborg, Cold Hawaii Games, AutoQ, DIF, DGI, Good Food To Go, and Thisted Bryghus.
