PWA / IWT Cold Hawaii Youth Wave and Slalom World Cup
As has been the case thus far, the wind and waves continued to tease the competitors on day 5 of the 2024 PWA / IWT Cold Hawaii Youth Wave and Slalom World Cup, but ultimately it wasn't quite enough to compete.
All was not lost though with the Youth Slalom fleets registering for their next five days of competition. Meanwhile, Johan Søe (FMX Racing / Point-7) and Marc Paré (Simmer / Simmer Sails) began their coaching clinic, which was well received by all with plenty of great interaction and feedback ranging from tuning gear to pretty much any other windsurfing topic.
Saturday marks the first offical day of racing and the Youth's will meet at 11am, while the Wave fleet will also meet at the same time. On paper it looks like racing will be the more likely prospect, but we'll just have to wait and see what the sea and wind gods give us.
