PWA / IWT Cold Hawaii Youth Wave and Slalom World Cup

Day 10: Cold Hawaii comes to life on the last day to provide thrilling finale

Day 10 exceeded expectations and tried to make up for the previous days. The forecast was 1.4m waves, but we woke up to 2.5m and 20 to 30 knots, which presented a huge challenge for both boats and crew. The decision was made to move to Thisted, where we were rewarded with perfect fin race conditions with 18 to 25 knots. It resulted in 10 heats packed with fantastic action, high speed, and close battles between the participants in the fin category.

After Thisted, it was back to the surf club in Klitmøller for an award ceremony at 16:30 in bright sunshine and fine windy weather. We would like to thank everyone who visited us, helped us, worked with us, and those who sponsored us. Thank you for 10 fantastic days, and we hope to see you here in Klitmøller again soon. Thanks to; Cafe Hawgus, Emilienborg, Cold Hawaii Games, AutoQ, DIF, DGI, Good Food To Go, and Thisted Bryghus.
