Transfer Season

Multiple times PWA event winner, 2023 Slalom Vice-World Champion and 2021 Freestyle World Champion, Amado Vrieswijk signs with Point-7 Windsurf for the 2025 season

Amado Vrieswijk (Future Fly / Point-7) is undoubtedly one of the best overall windsurfers in the world. The Bonairean originally made his mark by bursting on to the Freestyle scene - eventually winning the world title in 2021 after several close calls. Since then Vrieswijk has shifted his focus to racing and in 2023 finished as the vice-world champion having won back to back events to finish the season. Last year the 28-year-old probably didn't achieve quite what he originally set out to do, but still finished in a solid sixth place in the overalls and for 2025 he will sail for Point-7 after a hugely successful stint with Severne. Read on to hear more from Amado and Andrea Cucchi (Future Fly / Point-7).
