After a four-year hiatus, the Storm Rider competition made a triumphant return to Haifa's Bat Galim Beach

The Storm Rider made a welcome return in 2025 as it attracted Israel's premier windsurfers, including Olympic medalists and seasoned professionals. The event featured powerful winds and substantial waves, pushing competitors to their limits.

Under the guidance of head judge Ziv Dori and his experienced team, the competition maintained fairness despite the challenging conditions.

This year's event was a collaborative effort involving the Haifa Municipality, the Dagan brothers—Ori and Arnon—and Moran Tapiro, manager of the "Just Surf" community. Their combined dedication ensured a memorable experience for both participants and spectators.

The newly established Gesher Allenby Surf Club showcased fantastic facilities, solidifying its status as one of the world's premier windsurfing venues.
