The Navela Project

Sarah-Quita Offringa (Starboard / NeilPryde / Maui Ultra Fins): “Navela is a video series about the Women’s Wave World Tour in 2025.

After the World Cup in Maui last year we were having breakfast talking about the year. We were so inspired and excited about the women on tour ​​and were dreaming about shedding some light on all the different personalities on tour. Finally during the Chile event, ​we realised we had to start somewhere and dove straight in.

Together with our editor, Rafael España, we started putting together this first episode where we introduce some of the women competing and give an insight on what it’s like to be on tour.

The next episodes will be from Gran Canaria and Tenerife, where we captured the unfolding title race and took a deeper look at the background stories of the riders.

Travelling and competing on tour requires a certain resilience, and we want to share these stories with you through this series!
