Blanca Alabau (WeOne / Severne Sails) became PWA Slalom World Champion in 2023, but few know just how hard this year truly was for her after losing her Mum at the end of 2022. She rose up through the pain and powered through the emotional rollercoaster to take not only her first event victory in Gran Canaria, but to go on an win the world title.
