The 2002 Verizon King of the Cape Freestyle Pro-Am, is proud to announce its support of youth freestyle windsurfing with the addition of new divisions and programs to suit various skill levels of kids competing at the King of the Cape.

This year the Junior Division has been split into a separate Division depending on the skill level of the youth participating. We will be supporting an Amateur Junior Division, as well as a Novice Junior Division. The Amateur Junior Division will be for TOP competing youths, ages 16 or under, who are proficient at planing freestyle, and may even know a few aerial maneuvers. The Novice Junior Division will be for youths, ages 16 or under, who are learning to freestyle, or are competent at non-planing freestyle.

In addition, we will be having a special FREE Kids Freestyle Clinic program for those who NEVER freestyled before or want to improve their skills. This clinic will be taught by a TOP Freestyle Pro and Junior sailor, on Friday, June 7, from 3:00pm to 5:00pm. This clinic is in addition to the adult freestyle clinic going on at the same time.

Junior Entry fees, as always, will be discounted to:$30.00 US$.
