Cover Up

A photo opportunity for any pros heading to Cape Town

Mainstream sports photographer Ian MacNicol from Glasgow gambled on taking a trip to Tiree to shoot the Corona Extra PWA World Cup.

In fact he gambled twice by returning again for the final day on the back of a sketchy forecast just in time to capture Kauli Seadi (Quatro / Naish) win the 2007 world wave sailing title

That decision certainly paid-off for MacNicol, who primarily specialises in soccer, as his first foray into shooting the PWA stars in their element resulted in a front cover of Kauli sealing the deal on the latest Boards magazine (UK)

Ian’s now got a serious taste for the sport and obviously has the timing required to succeed.  So much so that he’s heading to Cape Town in January / February and is looking for top pros, windsurfing brands and magazines who wanna snap-up some high quality shots.
