Big. Bigger. Biggest.

Albeau and Taboulet score triple-mast high waves in Brittany

First the Hawaiians scored fantastic Kona conditions and huge winter swell on Maui, with even respected watermen like Laird Hamilton and Brock Little running into trouble in big surf.

Then the Mullen brothers hunted down some icy Atlantic storm groundswell followed by countless others enjoying the massive waves crashing into the British Isles and Western European coastlines.

But the last laugh so far seems to have gone to the fearless French pro’s Antoine Albeau (Starboard / NeilPryde) and Julien Taboulet (F2 / Naish) who dared take on the ruthless Isles de Vache in Brittany, northern France.

As ever the excellent Windsurf Journal scored the exclusive footage and you can see it on their WJTV website now.

The commentary is in French but the action is universal and will send shivers down your spine.

What an amazing winter to follow the most stunning season of competition. When will it ever end? Roll on 2008…
