2025 Puerto Rico World Cup ****

Puerto Rico, meaning "Rich Port" is located about 1,000 miles southeast of Miami, Florida between the Dominican Republic in the Greater Antilles and the U.S. Virgin Islands in the Lesser Antilles. Windsurfing in Puerto Rico is a popular past time thanks to it's trade winds and warm waters, but November-April are typically best for windsurfing as the trades are generally stronger during the winter months. Puerto Rico is blessed with many spots and can cater for everyone from beginner to pro, which makes it a great destination for everyone. 

Shacks, where this year's event will be held, is the windiest spot on the island, and some say the best in the Caribbean. Shacks is a spot for experts only when the swell is firing as it breaks over a fast, shallow reef - ready to catch any unsuspecting visitors.
