Interview with Jason Polakow
Q: How is your recovery from the ankle injury progressing?

JP: Well on the way to total recovery. Hoping by Vargas I should be 100 %.
Q: What are your plans for the rest of the winter?
JP: I am heading out to Hawaii in March and will be based there for the winter.
Q: Have you been sailing at all or is it still too painful?
JP: I recently did a photo shoot recently in Tasmania with Grubby (Greg Allaway) and Swifty (Robby Swift). My foot felt a lot better than a few months ago and I was able to sail almost back to full strength.
Q: What did you do for Christmas?

JP: I Spent Christmas at home and in recovery from getting my screws removed.
Q: Are motorbikes a thing of the past for you now?
JP: At the moment I have put it on hold. Cannot afford to have another motorbike accident.
Q: So what are you into now to replace bikes in your spare time?
JP: I am doing a lot of tow surfing and golf.
Q: Three words to describe yourself?
JP: Pretty, ***ken, silly!
Q: What’s your favorite windsurfing maneuver?
JP: It’s always been a super powerful roundhouse off a super clean hollow wave.
Q: How are the new JP boards coming along?

JP: Boards are doing great. We have the best factory in Maui for research and development.

JP: If someone else has done it or thought about doing it then you can.
