Loick Lesauvage — a young gun with a very bright future

Loick Lesauvage (Goya Windsurfing) began windsurfing when he was just 6 years old. Fast forward 9 years and the 15 year old is already showing off his skills on the world stage having successfully qualified through the trials in both Gran Canaria and Tenerife — where he eventually finished in joint 25th place, meaning he ends 2015 ranked joint 32nd in the world.

Lesauvage is one of the brightest young talents in windsurfing and he has just released a new video entitled ‘#TRIBORD’, which shows that the young Frenchman is equally adept on both tacks as he combines stylish vertical snaps with goiters, takas and frontside 3s, while tweaking his way through pushloops, stalled forwards and backloops… and from the looks of things he’s already incredibly close to sailing away from double forwards.
