Day 3 summary: Lack of wind keeps riders at bay.

It was another day of relaxing as the famous Caribbean tradewinds failed to deliver despite earlier promise. Some sailors were playing baseball on the beach, while others checked the latest forecasts on their laptops through the wireless Internet connection provided by UTS Telbo.

Two time freestyle world champion Ricardo Campello (V-111, JP/ Neil Pryde) talked about his chances of winning the overall freestyle crown for a third time running, discussing his goals for the 2005 Bonaire King of the Caribbean event and beyond. With a secret mystery move up his sleeve, things can still go any direction as soon as the wind returns.

The competitors will be back on the beach of Lac Bay at 0900 tomorrow to find out what the day has in store. Www.pwaworldtour.com has the latest news as it happens, so log on again tomorrow morning. For video footage from the second day of competition go to High.tv.
