Pozo Training Diaries - EP#2

The conditions in Pozo Izquierdo went off over the weekend with winds in excess of 50 knots and mast high waves creating phenomenal conditions for the most radical sailors in the world to do what they do best… go crazy. Fingers crossed that we get similar conditions for the Gran Canaria Wind & Waves Festival (9th-15th July) which is now under a week away.

Ben Proffitt (Simmer / Simmer) is on hand again to talk you through the best of the action and this episode is a must watch. The level of jumping is insane and so are some of the inevitable crashes from pushing so hard.

So without further a do grab yourself a beverage and settle in for 20 minutes of windsurfing at its absolute best.

The action has been insane!!!! I mean Crazy insane the last couple of days… but obviously these Diaries take some time to prepare (Blood, sweat and tears have gone into these) so not all the action is in this episode! …But there is 20mins… so make sure you have refreshments ready...

In Episode 2

– Omar [Sanchez] drops in on Antoine Martin (JP / NeilPryde)
– Antoine [Martin] and Moritz Mauch (Severne / Severne) give us a lesson in Body Surfing
– Marc Paré (Simmer / Simmer / Maui Ultra Fins) has a close shave with Sarah-Quita Offringa (Starboard / NeilPryde / Maui Ultra Fins)
– We hand out a Big Balls Trophy… and it was no surprise!!
– We spot Ricardo Campello (Point-7) has a funny habit!!
– Jaeger Stone has a nasty crash but comes back strong… and lands probably the best goiter I’ve seen in Pozo.
–Moritz Mauch takes to the air… who says he can’t jump!! …and shows us his new board set up.
– Musso turns up in Pozo…. sort of!!!
– Antoine Albert (Goya Windsurfing) shows his turns… not bad for a Freestyler!
