Delphine Cousin Questel Ready To Fight For 4th World Title After Injury Scare

About 3 weeks ago Delphine Cousin Questel (Starboard / S2Maui) revealed that she had suffered a foot injury whilst wave sailing, which threatened to potentially end her season early. However, it seems the 28-year-old is well on the way to recovering and is ready to fight it out in New Caledonia to win her 4th world title.

Cousin Questel is in a commanding position with a top 3 finish guaranteeing her the 2019 world title and this is what she had to say ahead of the event, which starts on the 18th November: “I am really excited to go to NC for the 4th times! Each time the conditions were insane and I really like this place! This year will probably be different as we change the spot, but I am sure it will be nice. My foot is better each day and I think I could be competitive for the last event of the year where I will fight for the title with my friend Marion Mortefon even if I didn’t sail since few weeks now!”
