Alacati Windfest PWA Youth Slalom World Cup

The next generation of racers are battling it out in Alacati, Turkey

For the second year, the Alacati Wind Fest, PWA Youth Slalom World Cup is in full swing. Hosted and organised by the Cagla Kubat Windsurf Academy, with boys and girls in the under 13, under 15, under 17 and under 21 age categories competing in both fin and foil slalom.

These budding superstars of the future demonstrate incredible talent and a positive energy that any windsurfer would be jealous of!

The perfect training ground for future PWA World Champions, there is already some crossover with the pro fleets, with names like Bobbi-Lynn De Jong (Starboard / Severne Sails), John Soukos (RRD / RRD Sails), Sem Stroosma (Loftsails), Cyril Evrard (JP / NeilPryde) and Maximilian Räuchle (Starboard / Severne Sails) having already made their debut in the pro divisions this year.

With a total of 94 youth and junior competitors from 15 countries, the next generation of PWA Slalom Racers look very strong indeed!
