Marino Gil (JP / NeilPryde) finished ranked 11th overall on the 2023 PWA Wave World Tour for 2023, which included almost winning his home event in Gran Canaria as he pushed eventual winner and world champion - Marcilio Browne (Goya Windsurfing) - all the way in a collosal tussle, which saw the 21-year-old force a Super Final before just missing out on a maiden victory on the World Tour.
Gil has made a name for himself as one of the brightest young wave sailing talents on the planet, which has earned him a move to JP and NeilPryde for the coming season as transfer news starts to filter through at the beginning of the new year.
