Windsurfing Ambitions:
My aim is to make remarkable grade at PWA year ranking 2016; so that I must entry all Freestyle events of PWA in this year. I grabbed a first chance to compete with worldwide professionals at Austria. I will bring out all my best at the event as much as I can, and I will draw attention as "Japanese player going anywhere in the world."
Last year I was able to win the JWA Freestyle tour 2015; now my aim is to be a world champion. To do this, I need to show that I have the ability to perform at the highest level at PWA events. Enlarging my technique will improve my ability to connect with and to reach the highest world level. Competing among the world’s top sailors immediately will also help me reach this goal.
JPN Freestylers have been continuing activities for dissemination and systemization domestically and this activity continues to grow. As a part of this activity, since 2010, I have been giving lessons to all age freestylers in my “Freestyle Sessions” once a month. I love to see my students try to jump, try to turn and try to sky fling on the water. I get a lot of energy and motivation from then also.
I hope these activities will spread to other Asian countries, as well, because there are many good spots for Freestyle in South Asia. I hope we will be able to hold a PWA Freestyle event in Asia one day. My love of Freestyle and the promotion of Freestyle are a center of my life, and I will continue contribute this industry as much as I possibly can.
