Biography

1st PWA event Fuerteventura Slalom 2007

Now I´m 20 years old and already finished school. Windsurfing is one of the most important things in my life. Windsurfing for me is not only a sport, it’s a lifestyle. Hanging out with friends after a nice session is as important as the sport itself.
In 1994 I started windsurfing on Lake Neusiedl, but since I was 3 years old I went with my parents to Pozo, Gran Canaria. From the beginning on, I was fascinated in this sport. Now I practice this sport for 13 years and I enjoy every minute being on the water.
In 2002 I started to practice Freestyle. At the first “Young Guns of Freestyle Camp” at Lake Garda, Josh Stone inspired me a lot! In 2006 I started to practice racing as well. I love sailing in waves, try some crazy moves in freestyle or being really fast in racing.
I really wanna thank Chris Pressler for supporting me. In 2003 Chris picked me up in his Continentseven Pro Kids Team. I joined this Team for 3 years. In this time I learned a lot, had a great time with all team mates, and get to know a lot of people.
I also wanna thank my sponsors; Starboard International, Challengersails International, Mogain Boardwear, Maui Fin Company and Sport Schneider.
In the future I will travel a lot and compete in Freestyle, Racing and Wave. I will try the best to be an excellent allround windsurfer and competitor.

Live besides windsurfing.
In June 2006 I had my final exams in school and leave the BORG Eisenerz.
From October 2006 until April 2007 I have to join the military in Zeltweg. After finishing it, I will start with a higher education in Vienna.

Family and friends.
I’m really happy to be grown up in a family, where sport is really important.
For example: My dad practice windsurfing since 1978, my mother started a view year later.Traveling, tennis, skiing and biking plays also a big part in our family.
I really like hanging around with friends, for me it is really important to have good friends.

Sport in general.
I can not live without sport. In winter I love being in mountains and in summer I like to go swimming, mountainbiking,…

Other hobbies.
Photography and filming is also a part of my live.
I really like to made pictures (sport, nature, snap shots) and cut movies.
